Llanwnda to Goodwick Railway Station

After last week’s wet disaster I head out in hope to get to the fort overlooking old-fishguard but that isn’t going to happen. Its another wet November day and I am doing no more this year ! I leave Llanwnda and start trudging – somewhere ! I see this beach full of seals 🙂

Seals Galore !

Crossing soggy fields , dodging Gorse , losing my way a little all contributed to ‘I’ve had enough’ – My personal Taxi is called down from the Fort 5 miles away and asked to pick me up at Goodwick Railway Station.

Here I am approaching Fishguard as most travellers will know it. The enclosed harbour where the ferry ariives and departs from and to Ireland.

Wringing my clothes out and cold Taxi & I venture into the railway station cafe and although viewed with suspicion by the locals we had a fantastic cooked breakfast. A shivery drive home and feeling a little warmer as we proceeded I though about route planning for next spring. 2021 walking comes to an End.
