It is not abundantly clear where the Wales Coast Path starts , just beyond Chester in North Wales. There seems to be 3 possible locations in my mind as indicated in the Pictures below.
These 3 pictures were all taken within a radius of approximately 20 feet from the ‘Discover 870 miles’ intro picture. Whatever !
I set my G.P.S. handheld to my pre-planned track and set off to ‘Shotton’
Over the next 5 days it is my intention to Walk from the start to ‘Barkby Beach’ on the outskirts of Prestatyn which will take me alongside the River ‘Dee’ from being a small ‘canal width’ wide to its impressive estuary.
