Woody's Blog

In my youth walking was a pastime I did with Grandparents, plesant enough but not terribly exciting. Most walking was a holiday excursion to a beach or National Trust Property. All well and good and a means to an end. Nowadays its not quite an obsession, but a way of keeping fit and ‘getting out of the four walls’

All You Need

I enjoy the planning, doing, and ‘writing up’ of my outings. It satisfies a need to be occupied and doing something positive. Scenery and the outdoors allows me to play at photographer, meet like minded people and have interesting conversations as well as making me exercise. Most of the photos in this blog are expandable (To Read Notice Boards / Historical Info) and result from my walking mainly. There are some random & technical pictures too.

    Hello
My husband met you whilst you were both walking the Welsh Coastal Path. You met Tony on the Lyn peninsula, I think you were doing a bit at a time. Tony was hoping to do the whole path but he hurt his foot whilst getting to Nefyn. He took a couple of weeks off then started again but had to stop at Criccieth.
He hopes you faired better. But noticed you stopped blogging at no87 which was when we last saw you at Aberdarron.
    Hope all is well
Looking forward to seeing more blogs

Hi, Stopped at 87 as it was end of Plan for March-June. Sept was Mynydd Mawr to Abersoch over 5 days (88,89,90,91,and 92) but bad weather stopped Play. Plans are afoot for this stretch but postponed for the moment.
