Abercastle to Treffaser

Destination today is Treffasser. Parking NONE beauty plentiful. My taxi service is working for me today and ‘forever friend’ is guided to a muddy patch of ground at Treffasser after dropping me off at Abercastle. “ It’s a glorious day and there is some mountaineering in store and a memorial stone overlooking a beautiful Bay, to ‘Dewi Emrys’

Some way into my walk I come onto Treseisyllt beach and am presented with a Problem ! I need to cross a stream but today is the 2nd November and its in ‘Winter Flood’. After some searching there appears to be no easy way across it. Can’t really walk far in Wellies can you ?

I am finding the coastline particularly good today, although its all good. I cant quite define why. There are some steep rocky parts to the walk but there are interesting features in the rock faces and their crevices, such as this waterfall.

Approaching today’s end at Treffaser I was glad of my sticks to keep me balanced and provide a tired body with some uphill leverage.

A few more from today . . .
