Take it all for granted That’s what we shall do Spite and venom planted We’re so much better than you You’ve never had it rough It has been so easy Ransoms are not tough We make them easy peasy Poor we are, when we look up And forget that we’re ahead Of so many careful people Who’s winter bills are dread So let’s do some mischief And demolish all their plans Society’s there for screwing Clap those happy hands And when we see defeat Of the people’s patience long We’ll flex our so strong muscles And sing a rebellious song Then there’s the other side Of no respect and smugness too Berate you cos you’re working class Just do what I told you to. It’s the fate of human race To always fight and squabble So we’re face to face In one’s own angry bubble The Gigantic Red Eyed Evil Deamon Is somewhere in this mix Blindfolded by your stance. And so there is no fix. And its complicated Too many different bits How could we work together The comms are all in bits Let’s then put the fares up Then we’ll have more ‘dosh’ Public is fair game For our heavy cosh ! Meanwhile while we suffer That sweet uncertainty It doesn’t really matter Where you may want to be So we eat a little less And cancel travel plans Our love and friendship forfeit Its in other peoples hands The overcrowded coaches and dirty windows too Why would we bother to fix that ? We don’t really see you ! So happy Christmas all We’re too proud to ‘Carpe Diem’ And let some peace reside We would ALL so like to see them.
